otennis

A smarter way to extend tennis and padel ball life.

otennis is a connected regeneration system that restores pressure to used tennis and padel balls and helps preserve the felt, extending their usable life. Works with pressurized balls from any brand, for both tennis and padel.

First functional prototype completed. Second prototype in development.

A ball is retired after four to six hours. Its materials last far longer.

Pressurized balls gradually lose internal pressure. Performance falls away long before the felt and rubber reach the end of their usable life. The ball is replaced not because it is worn, but because it has gone flat. The same is true in padel.

One device. Two sports. Any brand.

One device covers both sports and every brand of pressurised ball. Nothing about the way you play has to change. You tell the app what you use, and the device handles the rest.

The otennis regeneration device: a machined cylinder with a knurled band and a circular viewport showing a tennis ball inside.
  • WORKS WITH ANY BRAND

Compatible with pressurized tennis and padel balls from any manufacturer.

  • TWO REGENERATION MODES

A faster cycle, or a quality-focused cycle designed to maximise how long a ball stays playable.

  • CONNECTED APP

Tell the app which sport you play, what balls you use and the surface you play on. The device handles the rest.

  • AN OPTIMIZED BALL PLATFORM

otennis has also developed a tennis ball designed for repeated regeneration. The device itself remains compatible with existing balls from any brand.

Design concept. Functional prototype tested; industrial design in development.

Fewer replacements, at every scale.

Regeneration extends how long a ball stays playable, which means fewer balls bought, fewer balls discarded, and lower recurring cost: for a player, for a club, and for the industry as a whole.

Two sports. One recurring problem.

otennis addresses two racket-sport ecosystems built around the recurring consumption of pressurised balls, both of them growing.

  • 106M+

tennis players worldwide, up from 84.4M in 2019

  • 35M+

padel players worldwide, with courts up 15.2% in the latest year reported

  • 775K+

tennis and padel courts already in place

Every one of those players and venues buys pressurised balls again and again, season after season. That is the market otennis licenses into.
